The Career Speaker Series – Shining a Light on the Education and Training Needed Careers

On June 29, 2023, we launched our Career Speaker Series with “Meet the Meteorologist.” Our special guest was the Weather Channel’s on-air meteorologist, Alex Wallace.

For nearly two decades, Mr. Wallace has been an on-air meteorologist, reporting from the studio and the field.

He generously shared his education, why he chose the field, and what other options are open to those who like the weather but don’t want to be on camera.
